TKK Otaniemi Campus

TKK is located on an attractive campus by the sea in Otaniemi, Espoo. Espoo is a neighbouring city to Helsinki and thus part of the Helsinki metropolitan area. The centre of Helsinki is only 15 minutes away by bus.

Otaniemi is a centre of technology, research and business. In addition, the area includes residential buildings for about 2,000 students, the Student Union Building, and a sports hall. There is also a small shopping centre with a bank, post office, barber’s shop, pharmacy, kiosk, and a grocery shop. Otaniemi is also a lively centre of culture, where dozens of student organisations offer lots of different kinds of activities: there’s something for everyone to help relax after a hard day’s work and study.
