We will organize a dinner on Sunday evening and hope that you will arrive early enough to join us for this. Take some warm clothes with you as we are having a cruise (m/s Lily) in the archipelago to the dinner place "Naantalin Kaivohuone". The dinner will be served at 20.00.

The newly renovated restaurant, located right by the sea in a pictoresque old town of Naantali, offers splendid surroundings with an athmosphere of the early 1900th century's glamour.

Transportation from hotels to departure point for the cruise (River Aurajoki, West side, next to Vaakahuone, Linnankatu 38, 20100 Turku)

Banquet in Turku Castle

Turku Castle, dating back to the 1280s, is one of the most outstanding examples of Finland´s national heritage. The Castle was founded on an island on the estuary of Aurajoki River in the 1280s as the administrative castle of the Swedish Crown. The castle was originally built in the form of a rectangular fortified camp. The fortified camp became a closed castle in the early 14th century, and the castle was divided into a main castle and bailey. Under the Swedish Duke Johan between 1556 and 1563, Turku Castle was renovated into a handsome renaissance castle; this is when its main features became the size they are today.

A banquet in Turku Castle will be a truly memorable experience. In the 16th century, Duke John established a luxurious Renaissance court in the castle.
