Dear Colleagues!

the Ninth Congress of the European Federation of Microsurgical Societies will take place in June 12-14 , 2008 in Turku, Finland.

The meeting will take place in a new congress and concert hall, Sigyn Hall in the centre of Turku. It is a fine example of modern architecture on the bank of the river Aura in the historical location of the city.Turku is the oldest city of Finland with charm and long medieval history. There are many historical monuments like the National Cathedral, the Castle and many museums and the old tall ships.The social programme includes a welcome reception by the city, a gala banquet, and a steamer excursion in the beautiful archipelago where we can enjoy the long and light summer evening of Finland.

The scientific topics of the meeting comprise the entire spectrum of reconstructive microsurgery including new ideas and future aspects. The keynote speakers will be Professor Fu Chan Wei and Proferssor Simo Vilkki.
