EXHIBITION AND SPONSORSHIP INFORMATION

The 9th Congress of the European Federation of Societies for Microsurgery will take place in Turku, Finland, June 12.-14.2008. This Congress will bring together Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and Hand Surgeons, from all over Europe and also from overseas. We expect around 200 participants, leaders and decision makers of their fields.

The preliminary program covers the main fields of microvascular surgery and it looks attractive. The honorary presidents of the meeting are Professor Sirpa Asko-Seljavaara M.D., Ph.D., Member of Parliament (Helsinki, Finland) and Professor Simo Vilkki M.D.,Ph.D. (Tampere, Finland). We are honoured to have Professor Fu-Chan Wei M.D., Ph.D from Taipei, Taiwan as our keynote speaker. In addition to the above mentioned we will have other excellent and well distinguished speakers of their fields.

The venue of Meeting on Friday and Saturday will be the Sigyn Congress Centre. It is situated in the very heart of Turku just beside the Aura River, and is a well equipped centre with two lecture halls and an adjacent refreshment area.

A welcoming cocktail is arranged by the City of Turku on Thursday evening. The social program includes a gala dinner and a steam boat cruise to the unique archipelago.

EXHIBITION

There will be an exhibition area next to the conference rooms and special efforts will be made to increase the exposure by means of an optimal location of the booths and coffee stands in the midst of the exposition areas.

Exhibition space can be rented by square metres (from >4,5 m2 ) and the prices range from 250 to 400 € per m2 depending on the location of the booth. The location and price of the exhibition booths is shown in the map enclosed to this letter. The exhibition space includes two passes which allow for free coffee and lunch and admission to the lecture halls for 2 persons.

Kindly book your booth by using the on-line reservation form. Space allocation will be made on the “first come, first served” basis. The online booking form accompanied by advance payment should be provided to ensure reservation of the desired booth location.

Booth should be paid at the same time with the reservation. In case you will need an invoice, please mention this on the registration form. Invoicing fee of 8 euros will be added.

EXHIBITION RENTAL FEE

Booth numbers 1-3, 12-16 and 31 400 € / square meter (VAT 0%, VAT will not be added)

Booth numbers 4-9, 17 350 € / square meter (VAT 0%, VAT will not be added)

Booth numbers 10-11, 18-22 250 € /square meter (VAT 0%, VAT will not be added)

The exhibition management reserves the right to make the final exhibition space allocation and right to modify booth locations in order to effect a more uniform distribution of space. This does not entitle the exhibitor to have any monetary compensation.

The exhibition manual will be mailed to participating exhibitors a few months before the congress. This will include general and technical information and advise the organization of the exhibition, venue and services available to exhibitors.
